Coffee Focus – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Coffee Focus (package name: com.hypeheroic.MindBrew) collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Definitions

• Application / Service: The Coffee Focus mobile application.
• Company / Developer: Omer KAHRAMAN ("we", "us", "our").
• Personal Data: Any information relating to an identifiable person.
• Usage Data: Data collected automatically during app usage.

2. Data We Collect

a) Account Data (if you register)
When you create an account via email or Google Sign-In, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Profile photo URL (Google accounts only)
• Username chosen in-app

The app can also be used in guest/demo mode without registration. Guest sessions are not stored on our servers.

b) Game & Usage Data (stored in Firebase Firestore)

• In-game progress: money, level, experience points, streak, owned machines and skins
• Cafe information: name, theme, open/closed status
• Focus session history: session duration, coffees produced, date (for statistics)
• Friends list and friendship status
• Cafe visit history

c) Device & Technical Data

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• IP address
• App crash reports and diagnostics
• Approximate location (country-level, via IP)

d) Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
Google AdMob is active in Coffee Focus and may collect:

• Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
• Device information
• Approximate location
• App interaction data
• IP address

This data is used to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent. You will be presented with a consent form on first launch if required by your region (EU/EEA, California, and other regulated regions).

e) Push Notification Data
If you grant notification permission, we store a push notification token to send you focus reminders and friend activity alerts.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and operate the app and its features
• Save and sync your game progress across devices
• Enable social features (friends, cafe visits, orders)
• Display focus statistics and session history
• Send optional push notifications (focus reminders, friend alerts)
• Deliver advertisements via Google AdMob
• Analyze app performance and fix bugs
• Maintain security and prevent abuse

4. Advertising

Coffee Focus uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including interstitial ads and rewarded video ads.

Depending on your location and consent choice:

• Personalized ads — shown if you provide consent (EU/EEA/regulated regions) or are in a non-regulated region
• Non-personalized ads — shown if you decline consent

AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve relevant ads.

To opt out of personalized advertising:

5. Consent (GDPR & CCPA)

EU / EEA / UK (GDPR):
Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom are shown a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any advertising data is processed. You may withdraw or update your consent at any time by reinstalling the app or through your device ad settings.

California (CCPA):
California residents have the right to know what personal data is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell your personal data. To exercise your rights, contact us at the email below.

Other regions:
Where required by local law, we will request appropriate consent before collecting or processing personal data.

9. Security

We use Firebase's built-in security (Firestore security rules, Firebase Authentication) to protect your data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

10. Children's Privacy

Coffee Focus is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
